When I was 16 I had a 1967 with a 351 Windsor, it was very fast. My new build is a 2000 mustang and I am a lot older. I'm having some problems get the v6 started so I thought I would get a SCT x 4 power flash fords programmer to help straighten it out. My son owns a 2004 3.9v6 with all the add on HP. If I can get mine running I'm going to do the same to mine. I planning on taking it to the drags. If this doesn't perform then I will remove the v6 and trade it out for a 351HO multi-port injected engine. I have a running vehicle, computer, wiring and any thing else can salvage. I will be using the automatic transmission. I would like to keep street legal with ac and every thing. Has anyone done this and is a 1989 351 w going to match up to the trans, and motor mounts. Also will the 2000 front ac, power steering pump, and the rest of the pulley set up work?
