hello
i received some helpful advice from these forums concerning a front end rebuild.
it was suggested to use "poly bushings" rather than rubber all around except for the struts.

i have identified some rebuild kits but i am guessing these come with regular rubber bushings.
any advice on where to get the poly bushings?

thanks

Do some digging and you might find its cheaper and easier to buy new upper and lower arms with ball joints than to pass around with 50 year old stampings. I just finished a 65 w Scott Drake components and was very pleased. I used Energy or Hyper for urethane sway bar bushings and new end links.

Id also recommend just buying new control arms, theyre not very expensive and the old bushings can be a pain to remove. I got my poly bushing kit off of ebay, but wound up just changing the control arms. I used the ball joint bushings and the sway bar links from the kit. Sometimes the poly bushings squeak
