Now here's a car...

I just spoke on the phone with the dealer offering it, it has a Mach 1000 system, and is in pretty good shape (I looked on their website, it has a bunch of pics of the car, it's in pretty good shape. He said he's willing to bargain some, and I can take it to my mechanic and all that jazz....

Should I shoot for it? He also offers a buying service, and basically picks the best cars he sees at auctions for sale.

A friend of mine knows the guy kinda, and says he's a pretty honest guy. I didn't know whether that GT was worth it or not, though.

Why are you keep looking at one with high miles?
Try to look for something with little less mils, To me, 02 with near 80k miles is just insane(my o1 have hair over 40k on it, and i bought it with 27k miles 3 years ago for $14500)

Are they all instantly bad cars above 60K miles? I'm just wondering, since I've seen some in pretty great condition at like 130K miles, which is about as long as I'd want to keep a car anyways.

Anyways I was just thinking it looked like a nice car, and 80K didn't seem to unreasonable to me (that's the mileage my truck will have if I keep it for 5 years, which is probably how long that Mustang has been on the road).

I know a guy who's got a shop, and he said he'd check it out.

I'm not trying to get defensive, but I don't want to automatically dismiss a car, ya know?
