CA Smog Exempt

Just got my Historic Vehicle plates in the mail yesterday. That means the CA smog nazis can kiss my A$$ cause now I'm exempt from testing.

How much does it cost a year more for historic plates?

Same as personalized plates $25.

Was it easy to get? Did they have to check the car or any other inspection? Will the COPS inforce the driving only to historic or club events rule? I still want to drive my car every once and a while to work.

This sounds really cool option since it looks like the rolling exemption is going to freeze me out. Tired of sweating out the smog tests every year.

There's a guy (username Back & Gold) over at .net that's been driving his 76 Cobra down in the LA area to work quit a bit. Do you really think cops have time to mess with this unless you give them another reason to pull you over. Paperworks a breeze no inspections.
