Purchased this car about a week ago now, it came with a CAI. I installed it now I'm running lean on both 1 and 2 banks, also throwing random misfire. Install stock intake problem goes away. Now I understand some of these intakes you need a tune, well you should always tune. But I have the cai that is "supposedly" a non tune, it Has a MAF port. So just want to, bounce this around to figure out what's going on.

I had a BBK CAI on my 05 mustang GT that was "no tune require", which was not true at all. I had it tuned but had to flash to stock to pass emissions and it threw codes for running lean. If the problem goes away with the factory airbox, then a tune is likely required. Is the filter on the CAI dirty? You can try a new filter if you think that might make a difference.
