is there any way to tell if my cam gear is steel or cast iron? I had a non HO EFI motor and upgraded to an HO out of a 91 t bird. The T bird distribitor is a non TFI with the wrong plug. I have the older distribitor but dont want to run it if its going to kill my cam. Is there any way to tell what gear is on it. Is it posable to swap them it seems like its pressed on.
