can you switch a 2001 Gt gauge/instrument cluster into 2001 V6 Gauge/instrument clute

First can you switch a 2001 Gt gauge/instrument cluster into 2001 V6 Gauge/instrument cluter? Is so what do I have to do? Thanks for the help I need help becuase I will be going faster then the 120 on the stock V6 cluster. And it would look alot nicer.

Don't know about the V6 to GT cluster swap. However, I do know that the anti-Theft system (PATS) will not work. Remember that the PCM and cluster are programmed for each other.

Your choices are:

Swap the PATS board from the old cluster to the new.

Take it to the dealer for re-programming.

Disable PATS with a tuner.

I have comp. tech stuff that will let me disable it I am more worried about the clipons clipping together or will I have to start to splice soder and adjustment on the spedo itself so If I am going 30 the dash will not say I am doing 15. Maybe I can use my comp. and select rear end gear ratio that might get that close enough lol.
