Can you use stock rods with a 3.25 crank

With a stock rod and piston the piston would stick above the deck about .115" and depending on what the crank is the rod journal may be different as well...

You would need to use a shorter CH piston. What are you trying to do?

yeah 5.090

i was wondering because im in the middle of deciding what to do with my rebuild. The motor i have had a broke crank but I had another. I Have two sets of stock rods so i was wondering if i could just use them and a 3.25 crank. I do not think I need to do an all out stroker because this car is just a cruiser, no racing.

Once you price out resizine a stock rod, arp bolts etc you will find a decent set of stroker rods are very affordable, a decent piston with rings will cost in the $425-450 range.
