Challanges with properly tuning a carb for turbo or blower??

What issues come with properly tuning a carb for turbo or blower??

Im running a Holley 750 topped 306 with forged pistons and a F303 blower cam...just no forced induction yet. Car runs great the way it is but thinking of adding boost if i keep it. Ideal choice would be a roots style blower with the carb on top but thats a whole lot of $$$$. Found a nice set of hot side (headers and crossover pipe) plumbing close by for a T4 flange and fender well mount. Thought of snagging them and a random T4 turbo and intercooler from some one else. Im sure I need to do a blow thru carb or pressure plenum but what other issues am i going to have to worry about with a carb and a turbo ???? This is not a track car and more of a daily driver but Id want it to be properly tuned. Also is it best to buy a whole turbo or supercharger kit or can i just make it work with different stuff from different companies??? Looking for some of you on here that have already done this and know the pros and cons.
