Changed Transmissions

I've just recently changed from a T5 to a built C4. All works well. But now I have an idle surge after the car warms up to normal temp. It'll surge and finally stall out and die if I don't give it gas. I've been looking for days on forums and I'm not finding any solutions to my problem. Any help would be appreciated.
