Finally got my car back 448 rwhp 411 lbs tq.....

Have a question though... The motor got completely rebuilt due to the #8 piston..


Why is my new motor puffing smoke out which smells like burnt oil? Any comments questions would be apprectiated.

broken in yet? could be ring blowby if they havent seated yet. Did you break it in easy then run the dyno?

Why is my new motor puffing smoke out which smells like burnt oil?
Nice numbers. My car will puff some smoke and it smells like burnt oil behind me the first time I step on hit after it has been sitting for about 7-12 days. If I drive is every day or every few days, it doesn't do it. I am not going to worry about it, but being your engine is new I would be pist off. Ask him about piston rings, and/or valve seals.
