Good afternoon and here is my problem: will not charge, replaced the ignition switch, eliminating the resistor wire for Pertronix ignition some time back, checked all applicable fuse links, swapped out alternator, VR, tested all wiring applicable to system, A OK. only thing I have not checked is the instrument gauge, if it fails does it cause an OPEN concern and not allow the system to charge? Thanks
