Whenever I shut the Stang off their is a chattering noise coming from the ignition area, what could it be?

I assuming that "ignition area" means the top of the motor. Any DTC's? How does the car drive? Any noise during startup? While running?
How long does the noise last? How many miles?
Is it possible that it is coming from the front acc drive (bad idler/tensioner bearings)? You can't hear it while the motor is running but can when turned off.
The timing chains could make this kind of noise. However, this usually happens on start up.
Can you post a vid so we can hear it? I really can't think of anything off the top of my head.

Maybe something going on with the shifter interlock cable?
Does it sound like a relay clicking? Do the turn signals operate normally?

The turn signals operate as normal, it only does it when the car is warm and when you go to turn her off.
