When I open my hood, I want to see nothing but motor. To that end, I want to clean out my engine bay as much as possible and hide the wires. :nice:

Do I really need the EGR?
How about the PCV valve?
How about the EECS system?
How about the Air Injection System?
How about the alternator? (just kidding)

Any suggestions?

You dont need the EGR or Smog stuff if you dont hav emissions testings... If you do, you might need it depending on how they do the testings. Hide your wires, do a nice cleaning job and that'll make it look a lot better. You can also relocate your battery to the trunk and that cleans it up a lot.

PCV valve? Why remove it... it sits in the back of the engine out of sight.

From what ive found, removing the a/c, smog, and relocating the batter to the trunk makes the largest diference. Some of the wiring can be tucked under other things, bent or zip tied up, in a way to which it isnt as noticable. Also, just use common sence, if it doesnt look good, clean it up, by painting or polishing it, that helps alot!
