Hello everyone,

I have a 2001 v6 that will no longer be my daily driver and its time to beef it up. I am going to be doing a carbed 302 swap (and don't try talking me out of it). I'm going with the Weiand Stealth intake and a Holley 650cfm carb. My main problem is hood clearance, and I was wondering if anyone has heard of this being done before and how it was set up. If at all possible, I would like to stay away from a 4" cowl hood because I think they're super ugly. Thanks for your help.

Drop base on the air filter. 1 1/2-2 inch filter element, GT hood and clearance it under the hood scoop. Hopefully you can still get enough air into the carb. You can play with the height on the filter element.
