Im not sure if my whole clutch is blown or not or maybe my clutch cable is not releasing all the way. When i shift gears everything is smooth, when i give it anysort of gas in pretty much any gear the rpm's jump up but the car like barely goes anywhere. Now i did notice when the clutch peddle is all the way released i can pull the peddle back another inch or so. So im not sure if maybe the clutch cable isnt being released all the way and thats why its slipping or the clutch is actually blown. Any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

put the tranny in 4th and press on the gas, the rpm's and speedo should be matched since the tranny is a 1:1 ratio in 4th gear. If you press the gas and the rpms go up but the speedo doesnt, you have a slippy clutch. how many miles?

Here is one the best way how we in Bosnia/Europe check clutch
put in 5th gear ,E-brake on , give about 4000rpms relese clutch pedal (e-brake is still on) if engine died right away or in one secund clutch is good ,if not / if engine still runing clutch is gone :notnice:
