Finally got my car together and on the road- 89 notch 5.0, 5spd, 306 H/C/I etc. Anyways after about 10 miles or so of driving I was cruising in 5th and feel the clutch pedal slowly dropping down, like a ghost was pushing it almost. Well I try to push in the clutch to see WTF is going on and it goes nearly to the floor. The cable is on the quadrant as well as on the fork. It did not back-off of the fork, the locking nuts are in the same place they have been. The clutch and pressure plate were just about new when I put the trans in a couple months ago. Any guesses WTF happened? Thanks in advance
