clutch replaement

I would look into getting a spec stage one. The clutches that ford(valeo) is making recently seem to be garbage. I just had my king cobra clutch blow up on me with only 6k miles on it in my 96. This is the third one I have personally seen it happen on a 96-98 cobra. I am personally never going to buy another ford clutch again.

I had a centerforce II recently installed. Great clutch. A bit pricy but paying for quality. SPEC also makes great clutches. It really comes down to name/preference. My deciding vote came down to the quality of the throwout bearing. Centerforce bearings seem to last longer than those in the FRPP and SPEC kits As i was told by the performance shop. The stang specialists i went to only sell centerforce but will install any type upon decision. Hope this helps. good luck.

i have a df centerforce and its pretty much crap after only a year with no racing, the t/o bearing is loud as hell and just overall I liked the ford one better...but you never know could be just mine
