Cold Start Problems

iF YOUR RUNNING JUST ABOUT ANY NON STOCK H/C/I SETUP your gonna have cold start problems. It will surge but I bet it goes away when the car warms up right? If so, its probably because when your cpu runs in open loop the fuel maps are totally off. Of course when the O2 sensors start working and the CPU sees whats going on, it can adjust and make up for things. Usually when its cold outside (from 50 deg. to below freezing) my car surges till it warms up and the colder it is outside the longer it takes to warm up. Usually in chicago winters I start the car, eat breakfast then come out and go to work or school. As for the bucking, your gonna have to live with that. Or you could just get a custom chip and be done with it. If you want stock drivability thats what your gonna have to do. If anyone else has any other thoughts or disagrees with me feel free to chime in. Hope this helps! :nice:
