I just mounted 275/40ZR18 Pilot Super Sports on 9.5x18" SVT GT500 Rims all the around on my 2011 convertible GT and I can confirm that I've got no rubbing in the front when cutting the wheel all the way over.
I've only got a few hundred miles on these tires, but I'm really impressed at how much of an improvement this is.
My second choice tire was the Dunlop Direzza DZ102s. Even though I didn't go that way, I'm curious if any other mustang owners out there have used them as they are quite a bit cheaper that these Michelins.
