I'm removing a crank from a 351 M motor. I can't seem to get the water pump plate off, because the front of the crank is attached to it. How does this thing come off? I guessing I need to somehow stop the crank from turning. Any tips?

One bolt from the center of the damper, then a puller to remove the damper, then you can unbolt and pul the cover. There a re a couple of oil pan bolts that go into the cover also.

I finally got the bolt off. I had a pulley puller for my power steering pump, are they the same thing?
