Hello ive done a bit of searching on the subject of dash harnesses and their specific years/interchangeability.
I have a 1991 4 cyl coupe that I bought as a roller shell for a v8 conversion.The headlight/dash harness was cut at the firewall when I got it so needless to say both will have to be replaced.I purchased a A9l ecu/1990 engine harness for use with the new V8.
My question is what years of dash/headlight harnesses can I use or can i modify different years to work?I no longer have airbags in the car so the disability of their use wont bother me and some years are alot cheaper than others to get.I see alot of specifics saying "1990 only" because of connector location and airbags.Please note again its a 1991 shell with a 1990 engine harness/ecu.
