The motor was a "plus" when buying this car. Basically had plans for a dart block sbf for this car anyways. Bought it for the chassis not the motor. Having fun with it and not really giving much care into it's failure if and when it does happen. I have a tuner I'm confident in getting it to where it needs to be.
I have an end goal. Anything strapped to this engine will be transferable to an upgraded engine setup in the future.

that makes the two of them 700.00.They are 350$ turbos. It's be such a shame if they get taken out with the motor. Lol
Compared to 2200$ I used to spend on 1 single precision turbo. Lmaothat makes the two of them 700.00.

I'd prefer to take a "build up before" rather than "sweep up after" approach.

That's why launch control (2 step or 3 step) and a trans brake is a wonderful thinghmm similar to what I am using remotely on my 393 62/62 .63 AR exhaust but these are mounted in the rear bumper. Those should do well at the power level and should'nt be too difficult to spool [ although you never know until its running]
We used a pair of 72's on a 351 and could not get it to spool for until half track [not sure what the ar or size of the exducer was on that build]
In the mazda (stick car) it was setup with a stage brake and slipper delay valve. We launched at around 25 PSI loaded on the brake full tight clutch no delay. We also dabbled in 30 on the 3 step. No load, clutch out with a magnus clutch slipper valve. Motor went south before we ever got any good data.Stick car, leaving at 4500. couldnt build more than 10psi on the tree, 23psi in 2nd gear and 26psi out the other side.
building boost with an auto is very easy.
