Disable parking brake for convertible top

Hello! I have a 1994 Mustang GT convertible and my e-brake doesn't release correctly. Ignoring the safety hazard of not having a working e-brake, I want to disable whatever tells the top not to go down without the e-brake engaged. I'd have to assume there's a wire somewhere that I can just throw a switch onto, but I don't even know where to look. Thanks for any help you can provide.

There's a switch in the e-brake handle that creates a GROUND when the e-brake is applied. Find this wire and connect it to a full time ground.
