We did it! We now offer an affordable disc setup that will fit into even the early 14x5" rims. We were contacted by a rod shop that is restoring a 63 Falcon whose owner wanted to go disc but keep the hubcaps, so we gave it a shot.

As you can see by the pic, it simply attaches to your spindle. We use a 83-92 2WD Ranger rotor with S10 4WD calipers* to accomplish this. It tucks into the notorious 1967 14 x5.5" rim too! Only drawback in the Ranger unit has a 2.56" register, while the rims are 2.43". We simply chuck up the rotor in a lathe and 4 minutes later it too is 2.43". We used an offset bit so the studs stay in- what's not to like? They brackets and offset spacers with instruction run StangNet people 110 shipped to US.

* yes, I know, calipers fom the Darkside; but the only ones that even came close to working from FoMoCo were 88-97 Probe units, which weigh more, have a smaller piston, cost thrice as much and pad selection is very limited.
