Does the original 67 power disc/drum distribution block have any type of internal seals? The reason I ask is that I may have to heat up the lines at the block to remove them. They're frozen on there.

I read a post where upon fluid loss, the block will allow a piston in the block to block that part of the braking system to prevent further fluid loss to keep the other system working. My idiot light has always been on so just disconnected the wire at the block and never had problems (over 5 years ago) until recently with locking front brakes. Please note, I can still bleed all four brakes.

Thanks.

yes it does have seals. the piston has "o" rings on it to prevent fluid transfer from front to rear. also the access plug has an "o" ring on it.

Thanks for the information.

Due to time constraints and space, all work on my Mustang needs to be timed and reserved. I think I'll just replace the block as I'll probably destroy it somehow when removing it.
