Does it have Keyless Entry?

My 2002 GT convertible has all the leather and power options and at one time had the Mach sound system. One thing I didnt get when I bought the car from a friend was a keyless entry remote. Eventually I'm going to take it down to the dealership to have another key made and if it has it I want to get a couple keyless entry remotes programmed to it as well. How would I go about checking to see if the car even has keyless entry? I know when you shut the car off the Theft light flashes so that makes me suspect it has an alarm system. Thanks in advance, this forum has been a major help in bringing this car back from the dead.

If it has a theft light it should have RKE
Get oem Ford remotes and they all need to be programmed at once

That was the plan, I just wanted to make sure it had it, cause I don't know what to look for to be certain on these cars. Thanks for the help man, always appreciated.

A locksmith may be cheaper
Buy the OEM Ford keys or better yet a new Ford lockset for your car and three oem Ford remotes and then see the locksmith

Pretty easy to replace the lockset on a Mustang
Used to do it for the Highway Patrol
They wanted one key for everything
Threw away hundreds of brand new locks and keys over the years

All 2002 Mustangs had the keyless entry system.

You can use ForScan to program new keys. You'll just need to cut them. It's been a while since i've done it on an older Ford but there are plenty of resources online and Youtube showing how it's done.

Got two remotes at Amazon for the wife's 04 taurus for $10 bucks, came with new batteries also.
They were easy to program.
