Does stock replacement crank need balancing?

I just had my engine freshened up with new rings, bearings, and freeze plugs. I reused the rods and pistons. If I replace the crank with a stock replacement crank from Summit, will I have to take all of the rotating assembly and get it balanced? Like I said, the crank is the only thing that I am changing. The reason I am replacing the crank is that it has some rough places on it and I AM NOT GOING TO TURN IT because it has already been turned once.

FWIW I called Summit and they said it was a direct drop in replacment but I'm not sure I trust them.

DO NOT TRUST SUMMIT TECH LINE ON THIS.

Crank, rods, pistons
If any one of the 3 are replaced, then balancing is a good idea.

Take EVERYTHING to the shop.
Pistons/pins, rings, rods, crank, flywheel, clutch, and damper.

This would be the time to replace the damper or flywheel as well....
