Dome Light Switch

Hi all, I am having the dreaded "dome light staying on" problem. I took my door apart on my 96 Mustang Gt and found the part causing the problem laying in the doorwell. I have no idea where it goes and I cant even find a harness to hook to it. Its related to the door handle in some way. Any idea? The updated part is a Motorcraft SW5195
