i have an 87 gt with ttops and i have had it for about 2 years. The body is not in the greatest shape and i want to start getting it fixed up.
my question is, the driver side door is wavy looking when you look at it from an angle. so i am guessing it was in an acident and someone just did a bad job trying to make it look nice(i bought the car at night so i couldn't see it really well and i was new to this so i didn't know what questions to ask, but it sounded sweet plus it had ttops so i was sold
, oh well, live and learn)
so i want to fix or replace the drivers side door and i was wondering what my option are.
do you think a body shop can smooth it out and make it look good? or should i just look for a new door and if i do that do i need one from another ttop car? does it have to be a gt? can i use a convertible car's door either gt or lx.
