I am having a bad vibration problem and i have read up. Could be alot of things but i am wondering if the dowel pins could possibly have not been put in. I did not rebuild the engine but i have rebuilt a few 302's and have no idea what these dowel pins are. If anyone can post some sort of picture it would be great. thanks

I seriously doubt the lack of dowel pins (very small) are causing an issue.

They just 'tap' in 3 spots evenly spaced out on your flywheel. They line up the pressure plate you bolt it up to the pressure plate.

You know which holes the dowel pins go in because they are evenly spaced out and have 'stops' half way down the hole. Only three of all the holes on the flywheel have these stops.
