Drivers side power window trouble

I have had the drivers side window replaced 3 times by the dealership due to it coming off the track. Well it happened again last week but I am out of the warranty period. I have removed the door panel and door accessories and noticed that the window has perches that craddle the bottom of the door at the front, middle, and rear. The perches have a type of window silicon that seals the window onto the perches. That silicon has lost it's stickiness or holding ability and at the end of the window travel as it goes all way up the window rides off the perch. Has anyone had this problem and if so is there a better or more durable silicon other then the obviously cheap stuff Ford uses?

Could you use JB Weld? That'll hold the sucker on there... Also, examine the seals that the window passes through as it goes up and down. It must be hanging up on something to fail repeatedly...
