Eibach Struts & Mm Cc Plates Question

I just put the eibach shocks & struts on a 2004 gt. Already had the eibach springs with MM cc plates. The old struts the MM cc plates called for 2 big & 1 little spacer on top of the plate and 1 little spacer on the bottom. So with the new eibach struts I did the same thing, but to me the 1 little spacer under the plate that sits on the strut keeps the car from being lowered a little more. I don't know if anyone else has tried not using the little spacer under neath the plate, but any info would be appreciated as it would look better just that little bit lower.
