Engine Coolant Light is on...

not sure if this should be in talk but if so please move it...

i searched all the threads here and rather than mess around flushing my system and probably messing something up since im not all that technically inclined i think im just gonna take my car to the dealer for coolant service...on their website they have that service quoted at about $65...is this a really high price and should i look elsewhere?

the bobber thing sometimes sinks and throws the light. i think i un plugged mine

My year GT doesn't even have the coolant light. Ford thought it was more important to replace it with a "Check Gas Cap" light

Check the bobbin in the overflow reservoir. It's probably stuck. And then reset the computer... (disconnect the negative battery lead for 10 minutes and reconnect)
