Engine noise?

I just took my car for a test drive, just installed nitrous (I didn't use it though), and I can hear the engine whining on the interior. It gets louder and higher pitched as the rpms go up. Is this due to a bad ground connection? Thanks in advance.

Correct me if i'm wrong but...If it does it when the stereo is off then no its not a ground, but if the whining is coming from the stereo speakers then yes it is a bad ground.
