Engine Noise

My 88 fox just recently started making some noise, it sounds like lifters maybe? I'm not to sure it doesn't sound like a knock to me but I could be wrong, need some advice on what it might be

Sounds like a lifter has collapsed. I had a car that sounded similar. The lifter keeper had broken and allowed the lifter to spin...destroyed the lifter and the camshaft.

Definitely sounds like top end noise. You need to pull the valve covers and the lower intake.
