Engine swap question

I am about to swap a pretty much stock 5.0 out of my 87 gt for a 5.0 that came out of a 93 GT. The new 93 5.0 has GT -40P heads. My car has a mac h pipe that was attached to the stock headers n the old motor. My question is will i need to get different headers for the new motor or will the stock ones mount right up to the gt 40p heads with no problems.

Also does anyone know how much a new rear main seal is for a 93 302 HO? Figure might as well change it while the motor is out.

You will need different headers. I assume that the GT-40P heads were upgrades to your '93 engine because they were not stock equipment on the '93 Mustang.

Which ones do i need since i have an h pipe that fits stock headers. So which headers fit the g-40p heads and are the same length as stock ones.

Ford Racing makes P specific headers as does MAC. Any header will "mount right up" the problem is in clearing the spark plugs since those P heads have them at a different angle. So yea you could use your stock headers but will burn the plug wires on the header.
