So heres my story. My 90 hatch 5.0l was running fine til my return line blew a hole. So i got some both supply and return lines from the front all the way to the back. I changed them, and then the car started running pig rich. I checked, and cleared the codes, put a fuel pressure gauge off the schrader valve on. My fuel pressure pegged past 60psi! So i then changed the fuel pressure regulator to a Kirban adjustable. Fire up the car, and i get the same thing. It doesnt matter how much i adjust the regulator it still reads past 60psi. Any ideas?

So i figured it out. I guess when i put the new rubber lines from the tank to the steel lines and put the tank back up, the vent line hose pressed against the return hose causing no fuel coming back to the tank. So dropped the tank fixed the problem (definitely not much room there) and fuel pressure is back to normal.
