hello, im currently in the market for an exhaust system for my new 2010 mustang gt. i plan on going with the roush catback but am not sure on which midpipe to go with. im leaning more towards an H pipe since i would like the exhaust to sound nice and deep. i would prefer an o/r h pipe as im looking to squeeze out as much power as possible. i was looking at americanmuscle.com and only saw 1 o/r h pipe available, made by jba(?) and i noticed that they stated it only works with jba headers installed so im assuming this would not fit the stock mustang headers? are there any o/r h pipes that work with the stock headers? any advice would help greatly, thanks.

I am running an summit O/R H Pipe as well but with the FRRPP stingers. Look at summit racing , silver horse racing or cj pony parts for you mid pipe. Any O/R X or H pipe will give you a deeper tone you will just need to find a muffler to your liking. Just stay away from any muffler deletes because it will sound like crap with an O/R pipe

I would go with a catted midpipe. O/R midpipes can be a little raspy at certain RPM and because of a lack of backpressure loose a little tq down low at least that was my experience. I had an O/R prochamber with magnapacks. At idled and cruising it sounded awesome but round 3000 RPMs it would tend to get raspy. It also lacked a little tq down low. I welded in hi-flow cats and it got rid of the raspiness and I regained my low end tq.
