My 93 Cobra has a set of after market BBK shorty headers and I noticed that they are leaking at the head side. My past experience with after market headers have led to nothing but headaches. Does anyone know if there is a quality gasket on the market that won’t blowout? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

the mr. gasket or felpro's are pretty good from the local parts stores. stay away from copper, alot of guys have trouble with them. Napa has some ultra seal aluminum that are pretty good. I used these with my JBA's and haven't had any problems yet..

make sure you look at the gasket ports sometimes they will hand you ones that are round.

go through a couple heat/cool down cycles and retighten then check them. use some type of torque pattern or call bbk to get it, so they do distort.
