explorer motor?

ok i have a friend with a sn95, well the motor is shot and hes short on money. so we find a explorer with a 5.0 in it its about a 98 modelwith low mil , what all needs to change, hrsp, pros and cons about doing this, such as what intake flows better, if its a roller motor, u know what he can do to get the best bang for his buck out of this motor

FWIW- they are great bargans and setups. swap in the stock or something alittle more agressive cam and have fun.

Running an Explorer engine here. The bottom end is the same as ours, with the exception of a different cam and oil pickup tube. I sold the GT40P heads that were on it and picked up some TW heads instead. I'm very satisfied so far.
