  1. Earlier this afternoon, Ford Motor Company announced 50 companies will initially market & sell jackets, shirts, watches, game machines, and much more to assist in the commemoration of the Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary celebration. The new, trendy 50th Anniversary logo was designed by Michael Thompson, demonstrating the signature galloping pony layered over the text “50 YEARS”. Too awesome! Oh, and guess what–the StangNet crew will also soon have an online store so you can get your paws on these 50th Anniversary goodies.
Ford also plans to keep teasing out more specific commemorative wares over the coming months, as part of a year-long celebration which was kicked off at the 2013 New York Auto Show. For those who don’t follow the details of the legendary Mustang, it’s going to turn 50, officially, on April 17, 2014. Mark your calendars now!
