This is the colour I’m looking at with these chrome wheelsDefine Lime Green. The Lime Green metallic that was on the 70 Mustang was pretty nice. Thats what my 70 was from the factory, but long since repainted.
I second that! If you going to do it, go all the way. Nothing like opening a door or a hood and having a totally different color in the jambs/bay.Go for it.
My only request is to paint the entire car that color. Engine bay, door jambs, under the hatch/trunk, etc.
Remember the chameleon paint they put on Camaros? I was talking to a P&B manager about the the mystic cobras back in the day and he said that wasn't terrible to match, but that chameleon was a nightmare.I'm a big fan of factory colors. I had a custom tripple stage candy red paint job once. That thing couldn't be touched up. Every paint correction stood out like a one legged stripper.
Missing a door moldingWhat color is it now? what was factory color? Are you flipping /selling car in next 3 yrs?
I always like to weigh these in that decision.
The green will be a bold statement if done right .
You got to do what you got to do though.
I think that green is neat.
At least there are pics on internet to look at
