Hi, my name is Cory. I have recently bought a 97 Mustang Cobra that has been built to compete in the ESP class of Autocross. I have had a few foxbodies (I still have a 86LX), but have always wanted a Cobra. Also I have always wanted to get into autocross/road racing. My plan was to build my 86 into a racer but was always to nervous to do an engine swap (I want a modular engine) and found that it is a LOT cheaper to buy a car that has already been built.
The Cobra I bought has a stock engine, and tons of suspension mods. (Sometime I will list them all.) My plan is to keep it the way it is and just fix a few things make the car look a little better, as it will proably be my only toy soon.
I look forward to making friends on this site and maybe meeting some of you at autocross events next year. I really can't wait to race!
