Currently in the process of doing the 2008gt mustangsteve swap and I have a question.

Are these stock front drums?

I cant seem to get the hub to break loose from the drum. From the outside of the drum it does not even look like it comes apart. If these are stock then I may just need to add some heat.

They look just like the set I have. Knock/press out the bolts first, then put a piece of 2x4 over the snout of the hub and smack the s*%t out of it. I took a quite a few hits the first time I did it. If you don't care about the drums (mine were shot) hit the drum, it'll break apart. Just be carefull doing it that way, pieces fly all over the place.

dont forget that you have a few decades of rust and heat cycles in the drum and the hub, so they are going to be tough to get apart. get some good penetrating oil like PB blaster, and use the process noted above.

I did 2 of those, one came apart fairly easy the other was a bear. I soaked it down as mentioned, covered the hub center with a chunk of 4X4 and smacked the center of the hub with a sledge. I also put the block over 2 studs at a time with the nuts unscrewed level with the top of the stud and smacked it working my way around. Eventually the studs loosened, then the hub and it all slid out.
