Fuel Pressure Check & Vaccuum Check

I pulled some codes last week and the car is running lean. I got suggestions to check the fuel pressure and check for vaccuum leaks. How do you check the fuel pressure? And, besides a visual inspection, are there any other ways to check for vaccuum leaks?

go to autozone and buy a vac/fuel pressure gauge for about 20$. you just hook the gauge up to the vac tree to check the vacuum. it should be around 17. to check the fuel pressure, you hook it up to the shrader valve in the fuel line. stock should be about 40psi.
