gasket sealant RTV on GT40 Upper Intake

i'm gonna take off my upper g-40 intake tomorrow, just wondering if I should use some red RTV on the upper to lower gasket??

no im almost positive the instructions with my Edelbrock manifold made it clear to NOT use RTV for the upper to lower.....i dont see why a GT-40 would be different
