I have a 1986 Foxbody LX 5.0 302 Convertable and I am challenged in trying to identify the gear ration on my rear end, attached is the tag on the cover bolt any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Can't see the gear ratio well (under the bolt head) and bent, but looks like 3.27. I'm assuming this is a Automatic car.

It's also an 8.8, with limited slip, and a build date of Feb 5th, 1986.

3.27's were available as an option with AOD cars, and uncommon. Most came 2.73's. This is assuming nobody has changed the gears since new

If you cant figure it out and really want to know. Get the rear of the car off the ground and mark the drive shaft and one of the wheels with tape. Rotate the drive shaft and count how many times you have to completly rotate the drive shaft vs the wheel making one complete rotation. You'll have to guess on how much you rotate the drive shaft on the last rotation. This will get you in the ball park. You'll definitely know if its 2.73 or 3.27. Thats how I figured out what the ratio was in my rear. Here is a video showing how to do it.
