I think I now have about everything I need for need for my engine swap.
BluePrint said the engine will ship this week.
I’m really getting excited for this to happen.

Also, the outfit that sells those wheels has a package deal for the wheels and tires.
The tires are Toyo all season high performance.
Never heard of Toyo.
I was thinking of the BF Goodrich tires.
Whatta you all think?

Toyo are fine and have been around for some time . I had them on my ranger and loved them .

I love new parts too . Nothing better . If the car doesn’t sit out in the elements all the time the headers won’t get too terrible . I had chrome longtubes on my car for a few years

Thank you.
The car will always be garaged.
I know ( for me ) I’m spending a lot of money on this.
It will be my daily driver except in ice, and snow.
I’m figuring that I will have about $8,000 into it when I get done.

I have used the same pair of BBK chrome shorty headers on three Mustangs over 12 years and they are still in great shape. The chrome is blue, but looks cool to me. No rust what so ever, as each car was always stored in the garage. I wouldn’t worry much about it. Here’s a pic of them bolted to my most recent 347.

Love the looks of them turned blue.
Thank you.

I prefer stainless steel headers, but the BBK headers sure do look purty though! Nothing like a new pile of parts waiting to go on :)
Yes
I’m excited. As excited as a 71 year old can get without having a stroke. :)
I was looking for stainless steal, but never found what I wanted.
If they turn out like 95 BlueStallions I’ Be very happy.

My engine detail looks like :poo:. But, I really focus on reliability. I could care less what it looks like under the hood but I'll go overboard on reliability aspects.

I hate when hoses touch things. I really try to avoid that. If I can avoid it, I double wrap them in other sections of sliced up hose. Nothing is gonna chafe and wear a hole under my hood.
