Kind of bad timing as I am about to go into surgery again, but I should be able to get some work done on re-assembly here soon and I definitely should have it back together in time for the Ga Tech Car Show in April.

Anyhow, shot some quick pix with my iphone (sorry, didn't have time to whip out the Nikon D80...)

Let me know if this link fails:

Saturday I plan to put ont he new vinyl top. Any tips or advice? It's a first for me.

the car looks awsome, but not so sure about the pink bike. I dont know if anyone told you but your suposed to sit on the seat when you ride:D :D :rlaugh: j/k your bike tricks look cool. chris

Well, the bike was just some random guy in Piedmont park and i was with a group of photographers so we shot him for a while.

The trailer is also not mine. A very good friend of mine (friends for nearly 13 years) has a 3 bay shop where he fixes cars, and he also flips cars too (buys lows, repairs/restores and sells.) The van he was using to pull the trailer (yes, van) is one he's currently repairing. He uses the trailer to pick-up his vehicles. Usually things like Civics, Escorts, Tauri (plural Taurus ;-))

So anyhow, can't really speak to the quality of the trailer.

i would suggest NOT installing the vinyl top until your shoulder heals. you have to do a lot of pulling tugging on the vinyl to get it on right and that stuff could tear your shoulder up when it's at 100%, definitely don't don't do it until the shoulder is all healed up, trust me i did some stuff i shouldn't have done after i had my shoulder surgery and it set the healing process back about 2 months.

I'll have extra hands and my surgery is to correct a broken bone. My soft tissue is all 100% :)

It'll come out okay. It'll be a month or so before i can work again so I want to do what i can before the surgery.

Sky the car looks Great!

Glad to hear that wasn't you on the pink bike; and I somehow missed the picz of the trailer/van towing rig.

Now, since Andy seems to have his personal life neatly sewn up, I'm still quite happily married, Fritz has Mary and Dan has his imagination :rlaugh: ; the final unanswered question remains........

"So, Mr Confirmed Bachelor, who's the redhead in the yellow shirt on page 3???? :D

I like the car! I posted on another thread that I have a 66 coupe that is getting ready to go to paint. I was planning on keeping the original sauterne gold color, but add either satin black or ghost shelby stripes. I also like the gt rear valance, since I plan on getting duals.
The mineral gray looks really good. If I wasn't going with the original color on mine, I'd like the color you chose, or candy brandywine... but the painter said the candy brandywine paint alone is $700. Ouch...

Eric

Hope the shoulder gets better!

I really need to put a picture of me on my flickr... For those Interested, I shave my head and can't do bike tricks. :)

Since I am currently being attacked (a night before surgery no less) by my old nemesis insomnia (who everyone thought had been killed in episode 234...) I think I'll do that now.
